Meet the team
Burt Alfieri – Co-Founder / CEO of Global Foods (Partner company of Señor Pepe’s)
Burt Alfieri learned the art of cooking from his Italian grandmother and was immersed in the Mexican food culture growing up in California near the Mexican border. Having worked as a butcher, Burt followed his food passion to become a chef in the U.S. Coast Guard and a product importer at the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia. His vision to meet the fresh product needs of local Mexican restaurants culminated into a broader effort to meet every Mexican menu requirement in the Middle East, creating a 30-plus year legacy of food making and distributing excellence.
Shu-Ching Alfieri – Co-Founder / Managing Director
Shu-Ching once bagged tortillas on Señor Pepe’s tortilla factory line. Her determination and hard work have helped lead the company to its success. Today, Shu-Ching manages Señor Pepe’s, overall operations and oversees high-level HR duties to ensure overall quality, productivity, and efficiency. These duties include attracting talent and setting training standard procedures, managing payroll and finances, monitoring performance, and maintaining a safe, compliant environment. Shu-Ching is a lifelong lover of cooking. Friends and family marvel at her Chinese and Taiwanese food skills.
Hann Alfieri – CEO / Partner
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cyber Defense and Information Assurance and a Bachelor of Criminal Justice in Digital Forensics from Tiffin University in the U.S., Hann Alfieri remotely manages Señor Pepe’s cyber security risks and IT infrastructure. He is also helping the company forge a strategic path to continued growth through new marketing, branding, and management initiatives. Hann holds several FEMA certificates and is a certified Offensive Security Wireless Professional. He shares his family’s passion for cooking and is continually striving to perfect his American barbeque skills.
Dante Alfieri – Partner
Dante Alfieri attended a culinary arts school in Serramazzoni, Italy, and studied art in Mexico. He is an accomplished chef, having worked at Address Dubai Marina and Fuego, Dubai. As a partner at Señor Pepe’s, Dante is responsible for Research & Development / Demo chef.
Ramy Mahdy – General Manager
Ramy Mahdy has served as Señor Pepe’s general manager since 2015. During that time, he has been responsible for the planning and executing of daily operations and the general supervision of our importing and distribution chains. Ramy has been instrumental in managing internal teams and building strong relationships with Señor Pepe’s customers and suppliers. Ramy held various management positions at international financial institutions before making a shift to the food industry. He earned a Master’s degree in Management Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Banking Management from SAMS Academy in Cairo, Egypt.
